Together, local grassroots groups will continue to organize coordinated bridge brigades across the Triangle and beyond. Join us every third Saturday of the month from 9:30am - 11:00am. We are partnering with Operation Overpass who will continue to blanket highways across the country! Look for bridge protectors in AL, CA, CO, GA, FL, KY, NC, SC, VA, NJ, PA, and WI — that’s more than 20% of the US!
RSVP on Mobilize AND sign up for a bridge below. This helps us communicate urgent updates with you and allows people to see which bridges need more protectors. We don’t want any lonely bridges!
Each bridge has a captain who has attended a safety training and will provide one or two large banners depending on the bridge and at least one large American Flag. You may bring your own flags and signs, just be sure to use positive messaging that will not distract the drivers below.
Don’t forget to apply sunscreen and bring plenty of water. An umbrella is useful for staying cool, and be sure to hydrate beforehand.
This is a peaceful protest for democracy. Let’s reclaim our flag as a symbol of freedom for all. Simply sign up for one of the bridges listed below.
